On the 1st October 2003 a Cable Dome size 40.5m x 66m x 9.5m was erected over four tennis courts at the above college. This is the largest Cable Dome in the UK scheduled to stay up all year round. It is fitted with a Propane gas burner for heating. Once again ground anchors were used as the anchoring system.

Twelve 2000 Watt lights were mounted on curved stanchions round the perimeter and aimed upwards to reflect the light off the white roof membrane to create a clear uninterrupted space for multi-sports.

The college is so impressed with the dome that they are already considering a second tennis dome.
